Inaugural

I am documenting the first ever family reunion for Chads family. It was low key {mutual dell and swimming at Lindon pool} but we had a blast. I meant to take lots of pics but this is all I ended up getting...enjoy!

picnic

My mom always had a way of making ordinary things special, it has always been one of my favorite things about her. I made sure I cataloged it in my brain under " how to be a good mom." I took this one from you darling...

Picnic on the Deck

I don't have patio furniture, but neither did we ever have it growing up, we simply took the kitchen table outside. I opted for a light card table.

Nothing makes dinner more special than table cloth and napkins {no we don't use a table cloth every night}

Chad's burgers and some Limonata make it summer: full force.

It took no extra time and was lots of fun, try it with your family.

coasters, trains and big kid rides oh my

For most people that live in or around PG Strawberry days is a must. Milo wanted to go on every ride regardless of the height limit but had to settle for the dragon roller coaster and the kiddie train.

Gavin {after coaxing him ALL night long} went on a "big kid" ride, I accidentally had the camera set to night shot.

I am adding another chapter into the double trouble book. This is a picture of the carnival worker stopping the ride and coming over to Milo and Dempsey to tell them to sit down.

date night

We went out with my sisters and brother-in-laws... oh yeah and Millie's date. We had a blast!

{if you want a fun and cheap date idea after dinner draw names and go the the dollar store, we have made it a ritual}

if the dollar store isn't your thing you could always go with plan B...

Pictionary anyone?

as you can see we brought the kids along

thanks dalin and elisse for hosting & also for taking Gavin for the night!

A new tradition

My sister found a live Nativity in Alpine that we all went to for FHE. Well I thought we were going to a live Nativity, little did I know that we were going back in time to Bethlehem, complete with camels and Roman soldiers.

This is the best picture we got, Gavin was NOT happy about being so close to a camel. It really was a great experience. Hopefully you all can make it next year, as we went on the last night.
